Briarwood

View all homes for sale in Briarwood, Saskatoon on the MLS®

Development in the Briarwood area began before 1990 and is now nearing completion with the majority of the construction having occurred since 2001. Housing consists of mostly single-family homes but reasonable selections of town homes are also available. Residents of Briarwood are some of Saskatoon’s most affluent with an average household income well above $100,000.  That wealth is reflected in the housing stock where homes priced below the average selling price for Saskatoon are non-existent, while homes priced at twice and three times the average are commonplace.

The heart of Briarwood is the lovely Briarwood Park and its connection to the area’s man-made lake. Residents enjoy various amenities like baseball, basketball and soccer facilities. The park features wonderful playgrounds, generous lawn spaces, a children’s water park and paved pathways that provide wonderful views of the greenspace and lead the way to the lake.  It’s not unusual to see paddleboats on a Sunday afternoon and the sunset views are truly amazing. Briarwood Swale is currently under development and is rumoured to be Saskatchewan’s largest municipal park offering nearly twenty-one acres of beautiful wilderness in an urban setting.

Located at the south-east end of Saskatoon, with easy access to Circle Drive, you’ll find yourself ideally situated to enjoy the best that Saskatoon has to offer. You’re just minutes from the University of Saskatchewan campus, and downtown Saskatoon.  There’s plenty of shopping within easy driving distance including The Centre and the new Stonegate Shopping Centre. If shopping isn’t your thing, how about a round of golf? Neighbouring Wildwood‘s pretty par three is practically in your back yard. The world class Willows Golf and Counrty Club, and the Saskatoon Golf and Country Club can be reached in just a few minutes by car.

Amazing neighbourhood with a very active community association, with so many events and such a high degree of neighbourhood pride. My best and last move in Saskatoon.
