For anyone looking into purchasing in central business district of Saskatoon, I have to suggest that you do it and here's why:

Downtown is a wonderful place to live. Where ever you purchase a place in downtown you will be within a very short walking distance of the riverbank (every weekend there is an event on the river bank in the summer), numerous restaurants, numerous clothing stores and the mall. Walking downtown is nice anytime of year and I really enjoy it.

They have done quite a bit in my opinion to revitalize downtown in the recent years and it shows. Tens years ago downtown was dead at night, but now you look around and there are people all over and the nightlife is by far the best in all of the city; there is no where else that compares, there are so many spots to have a good time any night of the week (Galaxy theater, numerous awesome restaurants, numerous local type and upscale lounges and a wide variety of clubs).

Also with River Landing being developed, it will only add to attraction and atmosphere of downtown.
