Nutana Park

Situated in south-central Saskatoon, Nutana Park is primarily a residential neighbourhood. Most of the development there occurred after 1960 and more than eighty percent of the existing dwellings are single-family detached homes, mostly owner occupied. Nutana Park enjoys a great reputation as a middle-income family neighbourhood with residents who care about their homes and their community.

Nutana Park has one small commercial area offering convenience items. The closest major shopping centre is Market Mall, which is located just outside of the area’s eastern border on Preston Avenue.

Only one school remains in this mature neighbourhood, that being Prince Philip, a public elementary school. Students in the catholic system are taken to other areas by bus.

Nutana Park has over thirty acres of public green space across five parks. Area residents have access to many recreational amenities including baseball, basketball, soccer and tennis facilities, a toboggan hill, several playgrounds, indoor and outdoor skating rinks and a paddling pool.

There is so much I like about South Nutana Park:

    1. Almost zero apartments, low density, minimal traffic, quiet
    2. Great neighbors
    3. Almost everyone keeps their property up and modernizes.
    4. There is a great mix of young and old.
    5. Crime is low.
    6. Great neighbors (oh did I say that already?)
