Smallest house in Toronto on the market

Smallest house in Toronto on the marketThe “smallest house in Toronto,” measuring just 300 square feet is being offered for sale at $173,000. That’s $577 per square foot.

Sitting on a narrow lot which measures in at 7.25 feet by 113.67 feet, this little charmer has been completely renovated from top to bottom. It features a living room, a kitchen, a bedroom, a bathroom and a decent back yard.

I was most impressed by the initiative taken by the listing agents, Christina Lopes and Louise Ruggiero of Sutton Group Security Real Estate Brokerage. These two go-getters have enhanced their listing to the fullest on MLSOnline including a sales brochure and a virtual tour which offers eighteen still images and four 360 degree panoramic images.

It’s hard to find an agent who will provide such a rich presentation on house ten times the size.

The virtual tour for the property is here.

Tip of the hat to Matthew Collinge of Vancouver who originally posted about this property on his blog.

This home was sold back in april for about $130000 and then rehabed. My wife and I drove by the house to take a look, it was so small we missed it on the first pass.lol.

Great investment property / starter home!

$173,000 for that shack?! Seems like a novelty purchase to me. That would be a nice place to have if you needed somewhere semi-permanent while doing business trips in Toronto.

    Steven,

Funny! Think they’ll get $173K for it? I don’t imagine there are many options at that price in Toronto.

Not sure what it will go for, I just checked the mls, it has been on the market for 106 days and was just reduced from the original asking price of $189,800.

Whoa Geoff. Thanks! You came along just in time. :)

“Retards” might be coming on a bit strong, but I agree. I’d rather live in a tent than pay $1500 a month to live in a match box.

2009 is going to be worse compared to 2008. Being the biggest trading partner of US, US recession is going to hit us hard
