Norm is known for his passion for technology and can most often be found exploring and experimenting with the next big thing in real estate marketing. He was the first Saskatoon real estate agent to promote a home online and has been an early adopter of new technologies ever since. “Everything about this business has changed over the past 20 years, and it will happen again in the next ten. An open mind and a curious attitude are all that’s needed to continue to find new ways to serve our clients by delivering a faster, smoother, worry-free transaction,” says Norm.
In his spare time, Norm enjoys Crossfit and cycling, some years accumulating over 2,000 kilometres on the road. He’s a strong supporter of the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation and enjoys raising funds by joining fun, fitness-related initiatives like the Grouse Grind for Shelter. In 2015, he trekked the Peruvian Andes to Machu Picchu. In 2017 he walked the southern highlands of Iceland across mountains, sand, snow, ice, lava fields and forest for seven days. Collectively those initiatives raised over a million dollars for Canadian women's shelters.
Welcome to #320 - 120 23rd Street East in the Central Business District, Saskatoon, SK
The 2nd Avenue Lofts offers the most uniquely beautiful downtown living experience available in Saskatoon. Polished concrete floors, exposed concrete beams, and a 14 foot tall by 9.5-foot wide window create a wonderfully open and bright environment. The window faces the downtown Saskatoon skyline, so the view is pretty, and especially so after dark. A fresh coat of paint provides a clean space.
The white lacquer and glass kitchen with a moveable island is a chef’s delight when you’re not dining at one of your favourite downtown restaurants, many of which are close enough to easily reach by foot. Working from home? You’ll love the spacious den area. It’s near the entry door, if you have to have a client visit they can do so without moving through the living space. There’s even a renovated powder room right next to it. The upper level offers a large bedroom that overlooks the living room. The glass and aluminum railing is a lovely touch not commonly found in these homes. The four-piece bathroom has been nicely renovated. The purchase price includes the fridge, stove, dishwasher, clothes washer and dryer, and one conveniently located parking stall in the secure and heated underground parking garage, where you’ll also find a spot to keep your bike. Oh, the wardrobe closet in the bedroom and the storage closet in the den also stay. With in-suite laundry, everything you need is right here.
Reasonable monthly condo fees of just $390.46 include heat, water and electricity. The reserve fund for this building is well over a half-million dollars. Pets are allowed for owner-occupants with board approval.
The building offers four amenities rooms (weights, cardio, ping pong, and library/meeting room), an on-site building manager, and 24-hour video security inside the common areas and outside. The roof-top patio, with access from the third-floor is the perfect place to grill dinner and share a glass of your favourite beverage with a friend.
Come explore, but be prepared to fall in love.
