A view across the park towards Kensington Saskatoon homesKensington is a new residential subdivision that began development in 2013 and is expected to be home to more than 8,000 people when the area is complete. At this time, a growing selection of single-family homes, town homes and apartments can be found.

In its infancy, there are no schools or commercial shops available in the area, but a there are two high schools and a big-box retail centre with an impressive selection of shops, services, and restaurants available in neighbouring Blairmore. The closest elementary schools are in Confederation Park and Pacific Heights and bus service to those schools is provided for children who live in the area.
