The King George area of Saskatoon is primarily residential with most of its development having occurred before 1960. Approximately eighty percent of the homes there are single-family detached houses while the balance of the housing stock largely detached duplexes or semi-detached homes.
On average, residents of King George are at the lower end of the income scale, and as one might expect, earnings are reflected in housing prices that fall towards the lower ten to twenty percent of the market as a whole.
